Is the subconscious both a receiver and transmitter…?
…there is an experiment being undertaken. It spans the world and we are all passive participants in the process…
The Global Consciousness Project (GCP) is a collaboration experiment supported by a team of researchers.
The general hypothesis of the project is;
Periods of collective attention or emotion in widely distributed populations will correlate with deviations from expectation in a global network of physical random number generators.
Essentially, what the project does is, via a network of random number generators that feedback all the data to a central server called “Noosphere”.
The Noosphere runs sophisticated programs and maintains the growing database of results at the rate of One Trial per second at each of the nodes in the network.
In layman’s terms – and especially for me – what this system does is generate lots of random data that would be expected to show a combined result that shows “consistent randomness”…
What the experiment is looking for are anomalies in the expected data, the hypothesis being the cause could be the combined consciousness of humans on the planet…
And it is finding them…
Now, of course, this may simply be that they are starting with a hypothesis and finding data to support it rather than the other way round, there is no “proof” that human emotions are affecting the random number generators…
But the idea and evidence are, if not compelling, certainly interesting…
A correlation between reported disruption in the expected results and global tragedies or situations can be made, suggesting that how we are feeling about the world has an effect on it…
This could be simply selective data matching, a bit like the well-known but largely debunked “Bible Code” – any book can have a code made from it if we look hard enough…
So what does it mean…?
Being slightly sceptical about all such things is probably a good start point, however, to imagine that the world is simply a binary, logical, and totally predictable environment is equally unlikely…
However…
In the 1980’s Rene Peoc’h did an experiment with some newly hatched chicks and a robot…
Knowing that chicks will assume their mother is the first thing they see when they are hatched, he introduced them to a robot…
This robot had been programmed to randomly wander around a paddock and the trace of its journey can be seen in the picture below.
He then introduced the chicks into a cage adjacent to the paddock and observed the behaviour of the robot…
The “random robot” began to gravitate towards the chicks, it’s path can be seen in the second image below…
Suggesting the robot was influenced by the chicks’ need for proximity to their “mother”…
So maybe there is something to this Thinking affecting Reality…?
If there is – and I can find evidence in my life and business that suggests strongly this is the case – how do we harness the potential of this effect..?
Thoughts become Things…
Here’s a checklist to consider when choosing your thoughts and choosing what you manifest in your life and business…
- Think only affirmative, positive thoughts about yourself…
- Choose the language that supports progress, achievement, and success…
- Be kind and supportive to others – you attract what you transmit…
- Be grateful and notice when the universe conspires in your favour…
- Allow your subconscious to guide you – stop thinking so logically…
